What is Bomb Tracks
A studio on a shoestring.
Bomb Tracks started life as a leaky but solid brick built world war 2 bomb shelter in the heart of the southsea district of portsmouth.
It has been repurposed and given new life as a Micro Studio with a new (non leaky) roof, solid wood soundproofed door, large 3 x 4 ft double glazed window and its own electrical supply.
At approximately 6' cubed, space is at a premium hence the adopted term "micro studio".
Such small proportions meant some out of the box thinking (sorrynotsorry) was required to make this a workable space.
These include bespoke shelves and desk built to house a full-size piano keyboard, mixers, speakers and other qquipent.
wall mounted guitars, a cocktail drum kit and a ... sofa!? ( we had to store it somewhere).
